Camp Format

We've designed the camp as an evening camp, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., hoping that this time will be more convenient for parents who work during the day.

Here's what the camp will look like:

Opening
The camp will begin with a time of music and instruction.  Our instruction will come from the Word of God, the Creator of All.  It only goes to reason, that, if we are going to learn about "creativity", we should begin with the One who is the most creative of all.  In fact, He is the Creator.

Three Rotations
Following our opening time, the children will then rotate with their "group" through three different rotations:
  • HodgePodge (a "arts" class with a variety of projects)
  • Recreation & Snack
  • A "Specialty Creative Arts Class".
The Specialty Creative Arts Class options will be different for each age segment.  We've tried to provide options that will be great for both boys and girls.

Small Group Time
Just before the close of each evening, the children will have a time of additional instruction, again, using Scripture, to help better understand the teaching focus of the evening.

Closing
At the end of each evening, we'll come back together to wrap everything up.  During this time, we'll enjoy more musical instruction.

On Wednesday evening, campers will enjoy inviting their friends and family to join us for "Family Night" where you'll be able to see all that they have been learning!
