The Creative Arts Camp is a ministry of Greene Community Church, Waynesburg. Maybe you're wondering, then, why are you having it in Bobtown? Indeed, that's a very good question.
Here's the answer.
Every two years, we host a children's camp. Some of our camp's are creative arts camps while others are science camps, talking about topics such as dinosaurs and the human body. Typically, our camps have been held in Waynesburg at Waynesburg Elementary. And, our attendance has been excellent!
However, we've begun to realize that many children from other parts of Greene County are not able to attend due to the inconvenience of driving to Waynesburg.
With this realization, we decided to begin taking our camps "on tour." Our first stop? Bobtown, Pennsylvania!
Thankfully, we were able to use the Shannopin Civic Club! What a blessing. We are certainly thankful for their hospitality.
